Bobby's Treats - Raw Energy Balls

Our whole family love these tasty treats. And I especially love mixing it up each week - this week Ive added some orange esscence for "chocolate orange" balls.

My girls love them best with a big spoonful of peanut butter added to the mix. It's a pretty flexible recipe - mix enough wet and dry ingredients to make sticky balls when left in the fridge, easy peasy.

Bring to simmer 200g Dates with 2-4 tbsp water and 1 large tbsp of coconut oil. Once simmered for a couple of minutes, cool them a little then blitz to a puree.

Mix with 50g Cacao, 30g Chia seeds, 150g Ground almonds.
Shape into bite size balls, then roll in desiccated coconut or nut pieces.
