FOUR SIDES FUNDAMENTALS: Hip Circuit

Work with James, specialist lower limb physiotherapist, on this hip endurance challenge. This series of exercises efficiently activates the hip muscles. The hip is a complex joint with a big influence on the knee, pelvis and spine. The hip has the ability to move in all three planes of movement: front to back, side to side and with rotation. Muscular control of these movement patterns is essential for function. The series starts in side lying & finishes in standing. It requires no equipment & is therefore super versatile. It can be used to target hip endurance or as pre-activation before dynamic exercise.
