Four Sides Fundamentals: Ab Activation
Claire and Megan, co-founders of Four Sides London demonstrate a progressive Pilates ab series. All exercises are performed with an adductor ball squeeze to increase abdominal and anterior sling activation. These exercises aim to shorten the abdominals and work on endurance in this position for strength gains. This series can be great for general abdominal strengthening plus any extension based back dysfunctions or advanced post natal abdominal rehab. We work on the endurance of the deep and superficial abdominal muscles using static holds in various positions.
