our Mum & baby classes

A balanced, flowing YOGA class focusing on strength and flexibility for birth whilst also preparing you for your postnatal recovery. Breath work (pranayama) where we practice the surrender and release that support birth. Whether you are planning for a physiological or medical birth, studies show that training your relaxation response and learning how to access hypnotic states supports your body through the process, as well as your healing postpartum. Yoga helps to connect you to yourself, and to your baby, and centres you in your experience. This class is the perfect addition to your pregnancy journey and works alongside strength training, and other birth prep classes and will provide tips to add to your toolkit for birth and early motherhood. Designed for expectant mothers in all stages of pregnancy. We also welcome mothers after pregnancy loss to recover in a safe and supportive environment.

YOGA PREGNANCY & BIRTH (60mins)

An open class for pregnancy and postnatal yoga. Our focus will be on the movements your body, mind and energy need when you are deep in the motherhood journey. Giving you the much needed movement to ease your way through this time. This nurturing class is specifically designed for supporting women’s health across this transformative time. We will gently flow through a practice that will support your pelvic floor health, connect you to your relaxation response and alleviate common aches. You will come away with tools and understanding that you’ll be able to use at home throughout your week. For mums to be at any stage and mums (from 6 weeks post-partum) of babies and children of any age. Babies are welcome to join on the mat, in the buggy or carrier. If you have any post-natal concerns requiring special attention please make our instructor aware.

We'll focus intensely on rebuilding the deep core muscles and strengthening the pelvic floor – essential for postnatal recovery, stability, and addressing common concerns. Enjoy gentle
movement, mindful connection with your baby, and a supportive community. Led by a specialist Women's Health Physiotherapist, this class provides expert guidance and ensures
exercises are safe and highly effective for your postnatal body and pelvic health. This class is for all mums from 6 weeks postnatal, and mums of children of any age – It’s never too late to reclaim your core & pelvic floor! Please inform the instructor of your
postnatal stage and any specific concerns regarding your recovery.

Strengthen your body through every stage of motherhood in our specialised Ante-Natal & Post-Natal Reformer Pilates class.
The Reformer is a powerful tool for ante-natal and post-natal core and pelvic floor work. The adjustable resistance allows us to target these deep muscles, providing both support and challenge as you rebuild strength and function. The smooth, controlled movements minimize
strain whist maximising core engagement. You can rehabilitate and strengthen the pelvic floor to regain tone, control, and address issues like incontinence and prolapse as well as addressing your changing posture and whole body strength.

Our experienced instructors are supported by our womens health physios and will provide individualised attention and modifications to ensure you feel safe and supported, prioritising your recovery throughout the class. We can support you through all stages of pregnancy and from 6 weeks postnatal. Babies are welcome to join you on a mat alongside your reformer or in a buggy or carrier.

Build strength and rediscover your power in our S&C Strong Mums class. Focus on re-building functional strength and resilience to support you in the demands of motherhood and beyond. Our physiotherapists will guide you through effective exercises that rebuild your core, strengthen your entire body and incorporate pelvic floor rehabilitation. We'll utilize a dumb-bells, kettlebells, TRX, medicine balls and more! to keep the workouts engaging and effective. With a maximum of just five in a class, our aim is to tailor sessions to you. With an emphasis on movement correction, guidance on technique and safe and specific strengthening, anyone with pelvic floor dysfunction (including prolapse), tummy muscle separation or pelvic pain can train & rehabilitate safely with us in this specialist class. We are specialists in ante & post-natal rehabilitation & have used our tried & tested method many times to heal & rebuild mums stronger than before. These classes are for new mums (from 6 weeks post-partum), mums to be and mums of children of any age. We welcome complete beginners, those recovering from injury or pregnancy and birth or those just wanting to work out with like-minded women. Babies in carriers or buggies are welcome to come with you to this class.
